Residential driveway paving in Export and the Murrysville area

Export sits in a growing corner of Westmoreland County, and a lot of the homes here are prime candidates for a first driveway or a full replacement. Cooper’s has been installing driveways in this region for three generations. Whether it’s a straightforward residential driveway in the borough or something larger on a property toward Murrysville, we build it the same careful way — base and drainage first, then paving.

What we install for Export homeowners:

  • New asphalt (blacktop) driveways — full, from-the-ground-up installation.
  • Crack filling — sealing existing cracks before water reaches the base.
  • Asphalt curbing — durable edges that also help with drainage.

Why from-the-ground-up matters in Western PA

The winters here run through freeze-thaw cycles that are hard on pavement. Water finds any weak spot in the base, freezes, expands, and cracks or lifts the driveway above it. The driveways that last are the ones built on a properly prepared, well-draining base — which is exactly why we don’t cut corners on site prep. A good surface over a bad base is a driveway that fails early.

A note for Export and Murrysville-area property owners

Because this area is a mix of established neighborhoods and newer construction, we see everything from tight in-town driveways to longer approaches on larger lots. Each one gets planned around its own grade and drainage during the free estimate — there’s no one-size-fits-all here.
